Absolutely, yes. We are licensed for 200 guests in the 18th Century brick barn.

Of course! There are lots of churches local to Riverlands, so if you choose to get married elsewhere, you can still use the barn as your venue for your reception, wedding breakfast and evening party. The nearest church is the beautiful Holy Trinity Blacktoft Church. Howden Minster is also spectacular.

We are part of our (small) community and although we are in a rural environment we do want to be good neighbours. For this reason our events finish at Midnight.

The space will accommodate up to 150 people seated. We provide tables and chairs for up to 120 people and any extras are hired in at additional cost.

There is plenty of room for an additional 50 guests in the evening (200 total guests), for drinks and dancing.

We have outdoor fire pits for guests to keep warm. Our covered seating area has sofas so that you can sit around the fireplace.

Yes, we heat the barns to a comfortable temperature. The heating is included in the cost. We also have a back up generator which powers the whole site in case of any power cuts.

Yes, please see our accommodation section on the website. We also offer camping or glamping, which is supplied by one of our recommended suppliers.

You could hire a DJ and DJ equipment or a live band. It’s up to you. We are happy for you to play music outside during your daytime drinks reception.

We run a fully licenced bar with a wide range of cocktails, beers, wines and spirits. Please ask for more information.

We do accept outside caterers, although we recommend ones that we have worked with in the past and that we know and trust. See our suppliers list

Our on-site team at Riverlands are on hand to help you organise anything to do with the ceremony, the venue and the catering. They will support you throughout the planning process and will be there on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly. Our guests are always impressed with the level of service they receive from our on-site teams.
