Owned and run by husband and wife Ed and Kate on their beautiful family farm in East Yorkshire, Riverlands offers a warm and personal experience from the moment you arrive. The team is dedicated to ensuring your wedding day is unforgettable and that every guest feels welcomed and cared for.

The historic listed barns are set beside Trent Falls, where three waterways meet, creating a breathtaking riverside wedding location. Surrounded by open countryside and bordered by a tranquil nature reserve, Riverlands feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded – yet it is just a short drive from major road and rail links. With sweeping views, wide skies and natural backdrops at every turn, this is a place where your wedding photos will truly come to life.

In addition to the breathtaking ceremony and reception spaces, Riverlands offers on-site accommodation for up to 20 guests. Stay together in our beautifully restored Farmhouse, charming Swallows Cottage, and romantic Shepherd’s Hut, each filled with character and comfort. For larger gatherings, additional guests can enjoy glamping tents set in our picturesque field, creating a magical festival feel beneath the stars.

Having everyone close by allows you to extend your celebrations beyond the wedding day itself – from relaxed drinks the evening before to a peaceful breakfast the morning after. With two separate areas to get ready on site, both the bride and groom can wake up to the stunning river views while keeping that special sense of anticipation before meeting at the aisle.
