THE first wedding of the year always has a special buzz about it, but Charlotte and Lewis set the bar particularly high with their dreamy nuptials in March. Their plans hit a few bumps thanks to ‘it which shall not be named’ in 2020. But at last they got there, and By Golly it was worth the wait….
We love it when our couples splash out on gorgeous floral displays like this one by Forge Events. It made a massive impact in the ceremony barn and having the archway so beautifully dressed is something many guests commented on and will remember. Forge Events are one of our favourite suppliers and their style works wonderfully with the rustic barns. They never disappoint and this wedding was no exception. Bravo.
It was a beautiful Spring day (if a little chilly) and the light was simply magical in the ceremony barn. Their 80 guests witnessed a service full of love and humour, which set the tone for the day. There were belly laughs a-plenty at this lively shindig and the delightful couple certainly don’t take themselves too seriously. Neither did their guests…
After confetti and canapés under the umbrella trees it was time to head into the Dining Barn, which was even more jaw-droopingly stunning than the Ceremony Barn. Forge Events continued their brilliance with the help of Sarah B Weddings and Events on chair covers and Elizabeth James Events providing the stunning festoon light backdrop. Just Wow. F4D Events provided delicious delights as always and Pink Peppercorn Cakes provided the stunning wedding cake. Thanks to wedding planner Jade from Knotted in Love who worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran without a hitch.
After dinner is was time to get the party started, and who better to do that than the amazing Back Chat Brass. They are regulars here at The Barns and we just love them. They will get even the most reluctant guest to their feet and boogying in no time.
